I am an Egyptian photographer and former architect based in the vibrant city of Cairo’s rich and vast architectural heritage as a student. That early inspiration was further fueled by my love for travel, adventure, and global cuisine.
For me, photography is a way of exploring and communicating the beauty of a place. It allows a deeper connection with both yourself and with those around you.
My journey into photography began in 2002, unexpectedly, while working on a conservation project of Bab Zeweillah, one of Cairo’s last standing gates of the Old City. That moment led me to pursue photography more seriously. After nearly a decade in architecture, I took a leap of faith and left my job to fully dedicate myself to building a meaningful career in photography.
Today, I collaborate with a wide range of clients and projects. My work spans food photography, architectural photography, and street photography. I also lead immersive photography walking tours through the timeless streets of Cairo, capturing its soul through still visuals.
