Altamash Javed, better known as ALJVD, is a Dubai-based visual-artist whose primary creative outlet is photography. Born and raised in the Middle East, with ties to Pakistan, his early years were marked by frequent moves that shaped his adaptability and perspective.
After earning a degree in finance, Altamash entered the investment banking industry in 2008 and spent seven years in the corporate world. However, a creative urge eventualy pulled him towards photography. In 2015, he stepped into the Dubai creative scene, starting with mobile photography and attending photo talks that helped him connect with a like-minded community of artists.
Today, Atamash runs a media production company where he overseas a wide range of visual projects and manages diverse talent. He doesn’t confine his photography to a single category, his work is an ever-evolving journey of artistic expression and visual storytelling.
