Altamash Javed, better known as ALJVD, is an artist whose primary outlet is photography.
Born and raised in the Middle East, with a couple of stints in his homeland in Pakistan, he has had to move around a lot during his formative years which shapes him and his adaptability today.
After graduating with a degree in finance, he worked in the investment banking field for 7 years in the best time to start that as well – 2008.
Being engrossed in that world, there was another side to him that urged him to break free.
In 2015 he decided to make a change and step out of his shell and dive into the artistic scene in Dubai. He had already enjoyed taking photos simply by using his smartphone so he decided to attend photography talks all over town. There he met like-minded people and soon was part of a creative community.
Today, he runs a media production company, managing a multitude of talent and executing projects for an array of clients.
Altamash does not consider his photography to be in a specific category. It’s a continuous journey and it’s simply the tool he uses to express his artistic side.
