Yagazie Eguare is a renowned professional photographer, creative force, educator, and industry leader changing the narrative of photography industry in Africa. She is the founder and lead creative of GazMadu Studios, a premium, award-winning photography brand in Nigeria.

Through GazMadu Studios, Yagazie Eguare specializes in timeless portraits, documentary photography, and documentary films for Individuals, intimate events, corporate organizations and more. Her work is known for its emotive and empowering nature, celebrating human stories across cultures and generations.

After leaving her career as an optometrist in 2012, Yagazie pursued photography full time. Since then, she has become one of the most recognizable portrait photographers in Nigeria, working with premium clients from a wide range of nationalities.

In 2019, she launched the GazMadu Education platform, a trailblazing initiative designed to empower creatives across Africa. The platform has helped over 10,000 photographers sharpen their skills and build thriving creative businesses that reflect their unique talents and voices.
