Working with glass fragments, the Refracted Visions workshop led by Barbara Minishi, in partnership with Black Women Photographers, is an invitation to re-discover, re-engage, re-frame our craft and vision at this present moment.

How We'll Create Together

Bring one photograph + one empty glass bottle. You shall each craft  an 8″ x 8″ glass mosaic from your image, and then collaborate in small groups experimenting with portraiture and still-life diptychs using glass fragments. 

What You'll Take Away

  1. Your glass mosaic and printed printed diptych pieces—powerful reminders that breaking is essential to artistic evolution,
  2. An opportunity to submit your images to the Fujfilm Summer SOOC competition, and
  3. Connection and play with a supportive photography community for future collaborations, and opportunities for future Fujifilm discounts
