Public Art Abu Dhabi Biennial
Souq Al Mina, Abu Dhabi
Home is not just a place we inhabit; it is something we cultivate over time. In this guided photo walk around artistic installations at Mina Zayed, MiZa, and Souq Al Mina in Abu Dhabi, photographer Anna Jopp talks about how residents, shop owners, and local workers build a sense of belonging through subtle acts of care, focusing on the way they tend to neighborhood plants as a quiet form of homemaking.
Participants will be invited to observe the rituals and personal touches that make a space feel truly lived in. Each photographer will select a single recurring theme – greenery, light, architectural details, or community interactions – and let it guide their path through the area, capturing how a community event shapes its lasting legacy.
