Home as Memory is a photo walk with visual storyteller Shyjith Onden Cheriyath, that explores how photography can serve as a bridge between the present moment and past feelings. The session begins with a short lecture on natural lighting, quiet composition, and nostalgic color tones, followed by a guided photo walk through Al Qattara Oasis in Al Ain. Participants will learn how to look for subtle details, shadows, and ordinary spaces that evoke a sense of remembrance, comfort, and personal history.
