Aws Zuhair is an international awards winner professional landscape photographer. He is an educator, workshops organizer and leader. Aws has had a passion for photography since his childhood. He started taking photography seriously in 2015. Aws has his vision in photography which is: I am looking for beauty and translating it into an image.
Shoot for the Stars
Join us for an overnight photo trip to capture the stars in the Liwa desert with X-Photographer Aws Zuhair. Learn how to create dramatic images of the night sky with star trails.
IMPORTANT: Registering your interest in attending does not guarantee your place.
We will select 14 participants from all the applications based on answers to the questions, and portfolio (website or social media gallery is ok)
Star Trails Shoot in Liwa - January 20th - 21st 2024
January 20th
13:00 – Meet at Grand Stores Digital Showroom, Garhoud, Dubai
13:30 – Transport leaves from Grand Stores to Abu Dhabi
15:30 – 4×4 Transport to Liwa
Dinner will be provided, tents for overnight stay, breakfast before leaving the desert.
January 21st
09.30 – 4X4 Transport from Liwa to Abu Dhabi
10.30 – Transport from Abu Dhabi to Grand Stores Digital Showroom, Garhoud, Dubai

- How to plan the perfect timing
- On location practice capturing different shapes of star trails
- Warm clothes
- Camera
- Wide angle lens
- Tripod
- Extra batteries
- Remote shutter release
We will have some demo cameras available also to try.
Post Production - January 25th 2024
19:30 – 21:30 at Grand Stores Academy, Garhoud, Dubai
Learn how to post process the images you shot in the desert with professional techniques.
What to bring: Laptop with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop trial/subscription version
